White Rose Cottage is a wonderfully charming property of contemporary architectural build enhanced with chic neutral colourways, and combined with its gambrel roof and pretty white picket fenced front garden we think you’ll agree it successfully emanates times past! If you like the idea of a period style home but with modern build convenience, then allowing the initial allure of this home to further draw you in to discover more within will only add to your initial delight at discovering your new home!

Step through from the porch and you find yourself entering the equally refreshing white hallway, with three doors plus a stairway now greeting you. Firstly, may we recommend opening the door to your left bringing you into the dual aspect living room that embraces the full depth of the property. It’s very easy to picture yourself reading a good book or maybe watching a favourite film in this generous room whilst also feeling nice and cosy on a winter’s day curled up on the sofa, or equally cooling in the summer season letting soft summer breezes and garden scents gently waft in through the opened French doors to the south-facing rear garden.

Viewing the kitchen/dining and family room you have the option to return to the hallway to do so, or entering via the doorway to the right of the French doors in the living room, thus creating a really good flow to the property. The lovely Rangemaster cooker will have caught your attention along with the dining area for meal times plus the idea of positioning both a sofa and a wing chair where they are currently. Off this room is a handy utility room, to house your washing machine as well as a fridge freezer, plus there is the boiler, and in the kitchen is a built-in dishwasher.  The lovely stable door opens to the garden making this an ideal boot room as well. The remaining room on the ground floor is a convenient cloakroom off the hallway.

Ascending up…

Arriving at the gallery landing and taking the door on your immediate left enables you to enter your master bedroom for the first time. This being a very generous dual aspect room situated above the living room, hence the size. To the right of the landing enjoying views to the rear garden is one of two further bedrooms, with the remaining bedroom and the larger of the two, enjoying the front aspect. We’re sure you’d like to see the bathroom now, where you will notice there is a large bath to soak and relax in, or there is the choice to take a shower if that is your preference.

What a better time now than to all head back down to explore the garden, having had only tantalizing glimpses through the windows so far to wet your appetite.

In the garden…

This is a really lovely garden. Offering seclusion is the pretty evergreen foliage to the boundary creating a lovely natural surround to the lawn. Picture the summer months and use your imagination to visualize your favourite flowers and shrubs creating plenty of colour and giving off delicate scents. Dine alfresco on the patio areas eating delicious salads and summer fruits beneath the shade of an umbrella, or perhaps have a celebratory barbeque inviting family and friends, or maybe you just want to relax on a lounger and sunbathe in this south-facing garden with an iced tea in hand perhaps?

The garage and parking area…

Discreetly set round the back is a detached garage with an adjoining parking area. This is accessed via the road just to the right side of the property, passing the lovely curved garden wall where you can then open the pedestrian timber gate directly into your garden and enter your cottage via the stable door to the utility room. A convenient entranceway you may also wish to offer to family and friends.
